1. Using FinTracker
FinTracker is designed for small business finance operations, back-office administration, and fintech module prototyping. You may use it to organize operational records such as cashbooks, contacts, categories, payment modes, and cash-in or cash-out transactions.
The application provides reporting, filtering, exports, audit information, file attachment support, and administrative tools. You are responsible for reviewing records before relying on them for accounting, tax, compliance, or business decisions.
2. Account Access and Security
Sign-in is handled through verified Google accounts. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for ensuring that users invited into a workspace have an appropriate business need to access financial records.
Google Sign-In is used only to authenticate and identify users. FinTracker does not request access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, passwords, or unrelated Google account data.
Administrative features, including user management, audit logs, background jobs, email service tools, and reports, are intended for authorized administrators only.
3. Financial and Workspace Data
Data entered into FinTracker should be accurate, lawful, and relevant to your organization. This includes business names, cashbook records, contact details, transaction amounts, categories, payment mode mappings, remarks, and file attachments.
Some deployments of this project may run as a demo or reference environment where records can reset after restarts. Confirm your deployment storage configuration before using FinTracker for production records.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse FinTracker or attempt to interfere with normal operation. Prohibited activity includes:
- Uploading malicious files or content that violates another person's rights.
- Attempting to bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, audit logging, or workspace controls.
- Using exported reports or email features for spam, fraud, harassment, or deceptive activity.
- Reverse engineering hosted services except where permitted by applicable open-source licenses.
5. Availability, Changes, and Integrations
FinTracker may depend on third-party services such as Google authentication, email delivery, PostgreSQL, Redis, Cloudflare R2 compatible storage, background processing, and CDN-hosted frontend libraries. Those services may affect availability, performance, or feature behavior.
6. No Professional Advice
FinTracker is a software tool and does not provide accounting, legal, tax, investment, banking, or compliance advice. Reports and dashboards are informational outputs based on the data available in the system.
